Aren't they fabulous? The first of three bushes to bloom, and they are twice as large as last year. I was so afraid they would bloom and be gone while we were at the beach. I shared some with RvH, and am hording the rest for me. Bush #2 bloomed today and is a bit of a disappointment. The flowers are singles and not particularly impressive. This is the bush the meter reader trampled two years ago, so I am pleased it's survived. Bush #3 is the newest--supposed to be white, but red by mistake. Hope it's a double.
