My sweet sister (in-law) went to be with the Lord today after suffering a suspected brain stem aneurysm last Tuesday, September 11th. She was just 53 years old and married my only brother in 1979. They were young and in love.
Sherry Verkler Jacobs was the proud and loving mother to 3 girls, aged 27, 20, and 15. She was more brilliant even than I realized. An engineer by professoion, she was also a home school mom extraordinaire. Her oldest JW, did very well in college after being home schooled from grade 3 through 12, graduating with a degree in accounting.
Sherry was also a devoted daughter who has been a great comfort to her mom as they've suffered the losses of her 20-something brother and more recently, her father.
Sherry is our 6th sister. We cherish her life and all she has been to my only brother.
